Charge D’Affaires Opens International Conference on Telecommunications, Portorož, November 6, 2007

Charge D’Affaires Maryruth Coleman presented opening remarks at the 8th International Conference on Telecommunications, held on November 6-7 in Portorož.  Niko Mijatović, Regional Director of American-based AVAYA Communications, also gave opening remarks.  The conference gathered more than 200 participants from 11 countries, including representatives from CISCO, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Nokia, Siemens and Ericsson.  The conference focused on the theme of convergence in the global telecommunications industry.
