Reception for Transatlantic Legislators' Dialogue Held at Ambassador's Residence on His First Day in Slovenia
 
On May 25, a reception for U.S. Members of Congress and Members of the European Parliament who were attending the 64th meeting of the Transatlantic Legislators' Dialogue was held at the Ambassador's residence shortly after Ambassador Yousif Ghafari arrived in Slovenia.  Although Ambassador Ghafari was not the official host because he had not yet presented his credentials to the President of Slovenia, he immediately jumped into his representational duties only hours after stepping off the plane.  The Ambassador noted in his remarks to those in attendance that he and the legislators share a common goal: to enhance an already strong relationship between the EU and the United States.
