American Consul Paul Schultz participates in Remembrance Day Services, November 11

American Consul Paul Schultz and British Consul Jim Newman participated in Remembrance Day Services at Ljubljana's Anglican Church, led by Reverend Aileen Hackl.
Remembrance Day is observed on the second Sunday in November to mark the signing of the armistice agreement that ended World War I in 1918, and honors all those who died in both World Wars.  In the United Kingdom, it is a Remembrance Day tradition to wear a poppy flower, which was the first sign of new life to grow on the devastated battlefields of Europe.
