Deputy Chief of Mission Maryruth Coleman speaks to students of the School of Humanities, University of Nova Gorica, May 21, 2007

Deputy Chief of Mission Maryruth Coleman visited the School of Humanities at the University of Nova Gorica to speak to a group of about 25 second year undergraduate students about American Culture and Immigration.  Ms. Coleman provided an overview of how immigration has shaped the United States throughout its history and discussed the ways in which American culture and values reflect the diversity of its immigrant heritage.
Ms. Coleman also met with Vice-Dean Professor Matejka GrgiÄ? and Professor of English Language Milena KovaÄ?eviÄ?.
