Charge d'Affaires Coleman Visits Kranj, February 5, 2008

On February 5, Chargé d’Affaires Maryruth Coleman visited Kranj, the biggest town in the Gorenjska Region.  She met with Mayor Damijan Perne.  She then visited the regional newspaper Gorenjski Glas where she met with the management representatives and gave an interview. Her visit coincided with the upcoming Slovene national cultural day which is tightly connected to Slovenia’s most famous poet Dr. France Prešeren who lived, worked, and died in Kranj.
