Ambassador Robertson visits AkrapoviÄ? Factory, StiÄ?na Monastery, Pule Estate and Mayor Jernej Lampret of IvanÄ?na Gorica, February 20, 2007

Ambassador Thomas B. Robertson and Economic Officer Jules Kim met with Igor AkrapoviÄ?, one of Slovenia's business success stories, and toured the extensive facility in IvanÄ?na Gorica.  The AkrapoviÄ? Company, which is the global leader in high-end exhaust systems for motorcycles, has a strong import/export relationship with the United States.  Ambassador Robertson also visited the 12th century Cistercian monastery in StiÄ?na, one of Slovenia's oldest remaining monasteries, paid a visit to Mayor Jernej Lampret of IvanÄ?na Gorica, and toured the famous Pule Estate.
