Information Resource Center

The  Information Resource Center (IRC) of the U.S. Embassy provides current, authoritative information to Slovene nationals who for professional or research purposes need information about the United States.  Using specialized Internet based resources and online databases it offers:

  • Materials supporting research on U.S. foreign policy and politics, business and economic issues, law and legislative processes, and American institutions.
  • U.S. Government documents including research papers, speeches and statements by officials, and texts related to major foreign and American domestic policies.
  • Expert advice on how to find other information about the United States.

For more information on using these services, please contact Ms. Breda Popovic, Information Resource Center Director by telephone at 200 56 63, or 200 57 62 (Public Affairs Assistant).  Email: ircljubljana@state.gov

The IRC, like the U.S. Embassy, is closed on U.S. and Slovene holidays.
