  • Embassy Spouses Volunteer for Charity

    On November 29th, spouses from the US Embassy took part in the 15th Annual International Charity Bazaar organized by SILA. This year, the American booth had a cowboy theme and sold a wide variety of products donated by US companies as well as handmade handicrafts and home made baked goods.

  • Ambassador Ghafari tours Slovenske Konjice

    On November 5, Ambassador Ghafari visited Slovenske Konjice. He met with Mayor Miran Gorinšek, Marjan Borovnik and Emil Martinšek, President and Vice President of the Municipal Chamber of Trade, Renata Klančnik, Director of the Library and the Cultural Center and Milan Sojč, Principal of the Gimnazija.
  • Ambassador Honors Famous Slovene Gymnast

    Ambassador Ghafari, along with Justice Minister Šturm attended what would have been Leon Štukelj’s 110th birthday in Žuzemberk. The Ambassador and Minister were welcomed by the children of a local elementary school as well as by the Headmaster and Mr. Zajc, Leon Štukelj’s best friend.
