Workshop on eCollaboration in a Major Disaster Relief in the Innovative Cross-border eRegion

On November 7, 2007, U.S. Embassy Ljubljana co-funded a one-day Workshop at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, Kranj on eCollaboration in a Major Disaster Relief in the Innovative Cross-border eRegion.  The workshop was funded through an Alumni Small Grants initiative. The workshop gathered about 40 experts in order to address issues and share best practices learnt in interoperability of information systems of organizations involved in major disaster relief. The long term objective of the event was to encourage prototype development of Living Labs and to promote eCollaboration based on experience in the eLivingLab.
