Deputy Chief of Mission Hosts Entrepreneurship Discussion and Reception, March 15

On March 15 DCM Maryruth Coleman hosted a panel discussion focused on entrepreneurship for mentors and participants of the U.S. government-sponsored Center for Entrepreneurship and Executive Excellence (CEED) program and businessmen and women attending the University of Maryland’s Executive MBA program.  Panelists shared perspectives on entrepreneurship from their own expertise and answered questions from the participants.  Serving on the panel were prominent entrepreneur and innovator Igor AkrapoviÄ?, venture fund director Jonathan Cooper, and business woman and professor from the University of Maryland Dr. Marianne Spilman.  Attending the event were successful Slovenian, Italian, Australian and US business leaders as well as young entrepreneurs.
