How old must I be to buy an alcoholic drink or gamble in the U.S.?
You must be 21 years old in order to buy or consume alcohol in the United States. In general, you also must be 21 years old in order to gamble or even to enter a casino. You may be asked to present a photo identification to prove your age prior to entering a bar or nightclub in the United States.
