Concert Celebrates 15th Anniversary of U.S. Recognition of the Republic of Slovenia, Ljubljana, April 10
A concert by Maestro George Pehlivanian and his New World Quartet was held at Ambassador and Mrs. Robertson’s residence to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the recognition of the Republic of Slovenia by the United States of America. The New World Quartet honored the anniversary by performing the world premiere of famed Slovene composer Ivo PetriÄ?’s Quatuor 2004 "...apres l'Automne..." and the Slovene premiere of American composer Randall Thompson’s String Quartet No. 2 in G-major.
