Accordions Welcomes PAO Wurst
Accordions Welcome PAO Chris Wurst
Public Affairs Officer Christopher Wurst visited the students of "OŠ Polhov Gradec." After a cup of tea in the school's library, Mr. Wurst was welcomed with a song played on accordions by two students. He spoke with the group of 30 students about the staff at the U.S. Embassy here in Slovenia and what the Embassy does. He told them about his work, his home state of Minessota, his likes and dislikes of both the Slovene and American way of life, and the countries he has visited. All the students were very well prepared for the visit and asked him a lot of questions. The main topics were the differences between Slovenia and America, politics, languages in schools, the school system, American football, music, and more. We all had a great time!
