Charge d’Affaires Maryruth Coleman Speaks to Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Ljubljana, October 24

Charge d'Affaires Maryruth Coleman visited the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Ljubljana to speak to a group of undergraduate students about the EU-U.S. relationship.  Ms. Coleman, who holds a PhD in Political Science from Harvard University, talked about past, present and future cooperation between the European Union and the United States from economic, political, and values perspectives, highlighting the current cooperation in Afghanistan and Kosovo. She emphasized the importance of the upcoming EU Presidency for Slovenia and stressed the value of a strong relationship between EU and U.S.
