Charge d'Affaires Maryruth Coleman gives a lecture on Transatlantic Relations, Nova Gorica, November 15 

On November 15, 2007, Charge d'Affaires Maryruth Coleman gave a lecture on transatlantic relations with a special focus on Slovenia's upcoming EU Presidency to postgraduate students at the University of Primorska in Nova Gorica.  Following her remarks, the students participated in a discussion of the Western Balkans and the issue of Kosovo's future status.  During the visit to the Nova Gorica region, the Charge paid a visit to the Mayor of Šempeter-Vrtojba, Mr. Dragan Valenčič, stopped at TV Primorka to see Director Marcel Buh, and met with the President of the Board of HIT, Mr. Niko Trošt.
