Ambassador Thomas B. Robertson Attends 15th Anniversary Celebration of Caterpillar Inc. in Slovenia, June 8, Grosuplje
On June 8, Ambassador Robertson attended the 15th anniversary celebration of Avtek, the Slovenian representative for American company Caterpillar Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of construction equipment. Avtek was established in 1992 and is now one of 14 companies created under the Teknoxgroup umbrella. Teknoxgroup has been the representative for Caterpillar in the territory of ex-Yugoslavia for over 75 years. During the celebration, Ambassador Robertson met with Teknoxgroup CEO Lino Tedeschi and Marjan Cukrov, General Manager of Avtek, to discuss trends in the Slovenian business climate and opportunities for American investment in Southeast Europe.
